iTour is an audio tourist guide that uses GPS to automatically play stories in the right places. Just select a route, put on headphones and walk - the app will automatically play recordings when you're near points on the route.
Is the app free?
The app works on a freemium model - for each route, the first two points with stories are free. Unlocking the full route requires a one-time payment through the App Store or Google Play.
How long do I have access to a purchased route?
After purchase, you have access to the route for 90 days on the store account from which you made the payment. You can use it multiple times during this period.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes, after downloading content, you can use the app offline. However, an internet connection is needed for the first download of routes and GPS functions.
What are the technical requirements?
You need a device with iOS 15+ or Android 8.0+, active internet access on first use, and enabled GPS services. We recommend headphones with "Transparency" mode for safety.
Does the app drain the battery quickly?
The app uses GPS in the background, which can affect battery life. We recommend using a power bank during long routes.
How accurate is GPS positioning?
Typical deviation is ±10 meters. In dense urban areas it can be larger. The app was designed with these limitations in mind.
Can I return a purchased route?
Yes, you can cancel a purchase in Google Play within 15 minutes or through the Google Console within 48 hours. In the App Store, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract before starting to use the content.
Is the app safe in traffic?
Yes, but caution is required. We recommend using headphones with "Transparency" mode, removing headphones when crossing roads, and following local traffic regulations.
Can I share a purchased route with others?
No, the license is non-transferable and intended for personal use only. However, you can transfer the app to other devices under the same store account.
