St. Eulalia's Cathedral: Gothic Crown

The majestic Gothic cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. It is the spiritual heart of the Gothic Quarter. Plaça de Sant Jaume: The Heart of Power

The political and administrative center of Barcelona and the whole of Catalonia since Roman times. Facing each other on this historic square are two of the most important buildings: the City Hall (Ajuntament de Barcelona) and the Generalitat Palace (Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya), the seat of the regional government. This place has witnessed the most significant political events in the city's history.

Illa de la Discòrdia: The Quarter of Discord

An extraordinary section of Passeig de Gràcia, where three buildings designed by the three most important architects of Catalan modernism stand side by side: Lluís Domènech i Montaner (Casa Lleó Morera), Josep Puig i Cadafalch (Casa Amatller), and Antoni Gaudí (Casa Batlló). Their proximity and stylistic rivalry have earned this block the nickname 'Block of Discord.'

Casa Batlló: The House of Bones and Dreams

One of the most iconic and fantastical works by Antoni Gaudí, often referred to as the 'House of Bones' or 'House of the Dragon'. The building's facade is an explosion of colors and forms inspired by nature - undulating lines, balconies resembling masks or skulls, and a roof covered with ceramic tiles that look like the scales of a giant reptile. It is a masterpiece of modernism.

Casa Milà (La Pedrera): The Quarry on the Corner

The last great secular project by Antoni Gaudí, widely known as La Pedrera, or 'The Quarry', due to its raw, undulating stone facade. It is a revolutionary building with an extraordinary structure without load-bearing walls, allowing for flexible interior design. Its culmination is the magical rooftop terrace, adorned with sculptural chimneys resembling the helmets of medieval knights.
